The Fundación para la Conservación del Quebrantahuesos (FCQ) --Bearded Vulture Conservation Foundation-- was created in 1995 and is a non-governmental organization (NGO) declared for public use, which is dedicated to promoting and developing conservation, management, research, environmental education, rural development and ecotourism projects in mountain habitats where the bearded vulture lives.
The foundation focuses its activity in the Pyrenees of Huesca, Zaragoza and Picos de Europa, and more recently in the Sierra de Gredos and the Maestrazgo in Teruel.
FCQ is the coordinating NGO of the EECE project.
