Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre

The Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre (FNYH) --Nature and Man Foundation-- was created in 1994 to seek the connection and coexistence between humans and nature.

Among its objectives are the Conservation of Natural Heritage and traditional human activities - establishing an integrated vision between man and the environment -, Protected Natural Spaces - paying special attention to those at the municipal level in collaboration with city councils and participating in its management -, and the Restoration of ecosystems and the Recovery of threatened species of wild flora and fauna - in line with sustainable development, the safeguarding of ethnographic Heritage, research and Environmental education.

They work mainly in the Pasiega Mountain and the Eastern Cantabrian Mountains, the Green Belt of the Bay of Santander and in the Spanish-Portuguese corridor of the Iberian West. It also develops conservation projects internationally.
