Picos de Europa National Park, Asturian Side
Description of the Experience: After visiting the Bearded Vulture Mountain Interpretation Center, where a specialist from the Bearded Vulture Conservation Foundation will explain the scientific work behind this conservation success story, we will undertake a guided field outing to try to observe bearded vultures in their habitat and identify the individual(s) observed. Additionally, we will complete the experience by identifying other birds that may generate territorial and competitive conflicts, such as the golden eagle.

Recommended Time of Year: This Scientific Ecotourism Experience is available year-round and can last for either a half-day or a full day.
