Experience Description: A Scientific Ecotourism Experience in collaboration with Erde Gestión y Educación Ambiental (Erde Environmental Management and Education)
We begin with a visit to the Tierra de Campos Environmental Studies Center in Fuentes de Nava to learn about the success story of these restored Palentine habitats through the Global Nature Foundation.
We’ll then move to the Canal of Castilla to learn about this work, carry out a water sampling, and review it (flow, cleanliness). Afterward, we visit the Boada de Campos House Museum, where we'll get a guided tour to learn about the lagoon's origin, management, and natural resources. Finally, we will visit the Boada lagoon, learning about bird censuses, identification methods, and collaborate with the E-bird platform by uploading bird observations to the FGN account.
