Experience Description: <\/strong> We invite you to observe and photograph Pyrenean scavenger birds of prey (bearded vultures, black vultures, griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures, red kites, black kites, and golden eagles) in two different Pyrenean settings with different Hides: the A\u00ednsa scavenger bird feeding station (near the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park) and in Pallars Sobir\u00e0 (near the Alt Pirineu Nature Park) in the village of Buseu, where you will have a unique experience staying in a village restored for and by Ecotourism purposes.<\/p>

  • 1st DAY:<\/strong> This scientific ecotourism experience begins at 9:00 AM with the pickup and transfer of photographers to the photographic hides in A\u00ednsa. Once settled in, the feeding takes place. The spot is used by two pairs of bearded vultures present in the nearby area, griffon vultures (up to 300 individuals), red kites, and ravens. In spring or summer, there are also Egyptian vultures (three nearby breeding pairs) and black kites. The black vulture is not common but may be present for observation and photography. The sessions end around 2:00 PM, and photographers walk back to the parking area (1 km away). Session schedule: from 9 AM to 2 PM.<\/p>

    <\/p>

    Later in the afternoon session, FCQ (Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture) specialists, will explain the process of recovering a species at risk of extinction: the bearded vulture, from the 1980s to today, led by said FCQ specialists. What caused its gradual disappearance? What issues have been tackled? What have been the key factors in its slow but steady recovery, and which actors have been involved from a conservation and scientific perspective? This activity takes place at the Eco Museum of A\u00ednsa Castle and includes a full visit to the museum and observation of the non-releasable bearded vultures (Duration: 2 hours).<\/p>

    After the visit, transfer (not included) to Buseu (Lleida), about two hours from A\u00ednsa. Accommodation at Casa Felip (Buseu Project).<\/p><\/li>

  • 2nd DAY:<\/strong> Buseu (Lleida), at the entrance to the Alt Pirineu Nature Park, is an exemplary project focused on ecotourism with the bearded vulture as the main feature.<\/p>

    <\/p>

    The morning is dedicated to observing and photographing bearded vultures, black vultures, griffon vultures, and Egyptian vultures (depending on the season) from a photographic hide or from a photographic observatory, the latter being ideal for groups and families. <\/p>

    In the afternoon, enjoy free time to rest and take in the magnificent natural surroundings. At dusk, it is possible to observe deer very close to the accommodation. There is also an option for a golden eagle hide in the evening. Accommodation at Casa Felip (Buseu Project).<\/p><\/li>

  • 3rd DAY:<\/strong> Optionally, you can spend the last morning at one of the remaining hides or even repeat a session before returning to your place of origin. <\/li><\/span><\/div>
