One of the highlights of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona ecotourism commitment is its adhesion to the System for the Recognition of the Sustainability of Nature Tourism in the Natura 2000 Network (SRSTNRN2000) in 2023, specifically of the Sierra Morena ZEC ZEPA. This system guarantees that tourism in the area is carried out in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner, thus protecting the biodiversity of the area.

In 2021, the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona Natural Park was also designated as Starlight territory, which highlights the quality of its night skies and its commitment to environmental protection.
In addition, the territory of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona, in part, has been recognized by UNESCO in 2024, Calatrava Volcanoes Geopark Ciudad Real, and included in the Global Geoparks Network which evidences its commitment to the conservation of the geological and cultural heritage of the area.
