Conquer the best rapids of the Pyrenees
Rafting in Huesca is a very popular adventure sport. The Pyrenees are a privileged area for water adventure sports. In the Pyrenees you can practice rafting, kayaking, canoeing and hydrospeed that are water sports which are practiced in places where there are natural geographical conditions, specifically mountain rivers that have a sufficient slope so that overcoming obstacles form the so-called rapids. Huesca and the Pyrenees is one of the few places in Spain where you can practice rafting.
You can also choose to do kayaking or hydrospeed in the same rivers.
Details
On the Ésera river we can go rafting all spring and summer. If we go rafting or descend the river Esera by boat, this will be the order:
-We stay at the base of activities in Campo, where the activity will be explained and the equipment will be distributed: Neoprene, vest, booties, helmet and paddle.
From there we will walk to the starting point 5 minutes away. Once there we listen to the safety talk offered by the guides and we go downstream in the rafting rafts. On the raft we will be accompanied by a guide.
It is an activity with great adrenaline discharge and it is essential to know how to swim. Rafting we will travel about 12 kilometers along the river. In the first hour of the tour we cross class II rapids. In the second section, the river crosses its most active part, the Pyramids section, with class III and IV rapids. In summer the transparent waters allow us to swim in them. A refreshing and fun day.
At the end of the 2-hour tour, the vans will wait for us to return to the base, where it is possible to shower.
We will be equipped with helmet, neoprene and life jacket.
It is essential to know how to swim and be over 14 years old.
In the field of active tourism and adventure sports there is a potential risk derived from its own nature. The guides and technicians have the preparation and experience appropriate to the activity they carry out. Your safety, to a large extent, depends on following their instructions and guidelines.

Since this is advanced rafting, you have to be over 14 years old and know how to swim.
It is not necessary to have experience. White water until class 4.
