The Fundación CBD-Hábitat --CBD-Habitat Foundation-- has been dedicated since 1998 to conserving biodiversity inside and outside our borders, working with threatened species such as the Iberian lynx, the Mediterranean monk seal, the imperial eagle or the black vulture, in projects that include research and the study of biodiversity in its relationship with the natural, cultural and human environment.
They protect the environment and threatened species by deploying global projects that involve social groups such as ranchers, fishermen or local populations, and develop innovative technologies and methodologies that allow them to take advantage of biodiversity in a sustainable way, while supporting its conservation with tools such as environmental education and awareness.
