Galicia's first ecotourism destination certified through the Ecotourism Club of Spain. It has developed numerous initiatives to promote this product as an engine of economic development and has branded the Biosphere Reserve brand to ensure the sustainability of businesses.
From our Reserve we offer outstanding ecotourism experiences. You can explore its natural landscapes, take hiking trails, go bird watching and enjoy the biodiversity of the region. There are also options to participate in sustainable activities that promote the conservation of the environment.There are currently 70 certified tourism companies that actively collaborate and connect with the local product with the 35 agri-food companies certified in the Biosphere Reserve Mark and that work together with the Destination to collaborate in the creation of new products, activities and experiences certified 100% in Ecotourism. The Quality Mark of the Biosphere Reserve Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo was created with the aim of introducing and differentiating local products, adding value, promoting and disseminating resources that enhance traditional economic activities and social economy.
