We are accredited with the CETS: European Charter for Sustainable Tourism. Among our commitments, we adopt the following actions:We participate in a joint project between public and private entities of the territory to promote universal tourism in different areas of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and the region in general.We design tourism proposals, for the universal public, which include participation in conservation projects promoted by the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park.

We adapt our experiences to adapt them to the objectives of the 2030 agenda, the SDGs and meet the 4D requirements (deseasonalization, defrequentation, increased spending and diversification).

Calculation of the ecological footprint of tourism packages, and reduction of CO2 emissions.

We collaborate with the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park to develop conservation projects that allow visitors to participate as volunteers.We actively participate in the development of the strategy of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism of the Garrotxa.

Self-guided tours

The most spectacular volcanoes of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park.
 
Up to 14 volcanoes: Croscat, Santa Margarida, Montsacopa... La Fageda d'en Jordà: a unique beech forest where you have to get lost at least once in your life.
 
Following ancient lava flows along medieval paths.
 
Ancient paths, cultural landscapes of the first order, rivers and marshes, forests of all kinds and above all, many volcanoes and lava flows are the main attractions of a weekend in the volcanic area of the Garrotxa.

- FIRST DAY:
Arrival in Olot and installation in the accommodation.

- SECOND DAY:The starting point is at the Itinerannia billboard, located on the bridge of the Móres de Olot.
 
Following the old medieval road that linked the town of Olot with the village of Santa Pau, we will gain height until we reach the highest part of the basalt plateau of Batet de la Serra.
 
Cobblestone roads and a mosaic of crops with pastures surrounded by dry stone walls, will accompany us in this first section of the route.
 
Soon we will see the volcanoes of Croscat and Santa Margarita. From Croscat we will observe its interior on the side where formerly there were some extractions of volcanic rocks, and in Santa Margarita, we will go up to the top and we can enter its crater where in its center there is a hermitage of Romanesque origin.
 
On the way back to Olot, we will enter the Jordà beech forest, where we will enjoy the silence and greenery of a unique place in the world.
 
Following the path of the lava of the Croscat volcano, we will approach the end.
 
The panoramic views over the city of Olot with the three volcanoes that watch over it, and the Pyrenees in the background, will be a good postcard to end a pleasant day of hiking.

- THIRD DAY: The starting point will be the old train station that linked the cities of Girona and Olot. Currently, the route of the railway has become a greenway suitable for hiking and cycling.
 
We will follow it for a while, enjoying a bucolic landscape that takes us back to the past.
 
Then, we will cross the Fluvià river and ascend to one of the closest viewpoints to Olot, but at the same time more unknown.
 
The crater of the volcano of Montolivet, we will have to look for it in the middle of the forest of oaks and chestnut trees with lots of holly, which we will cross to reach the streets of the city of Olot.
 
The next objective will be the top of the Montsacopa volcano. The 360º panoramic view that we will see going along the lip of the crater will allow us to see a very extensive territory: Canigó massif, Alta Garrotxa, volcanic area and the city of Olot at our feet.
 
We will finish the route getting lost in the most central streets of the city of Olot.
