Location: town halls of Pedrafita do Cebreiro, As Nogais,  Becerreá, Baralla, Baleira, A Fonsagrada,  Ribeira de Piquín, Pol, and Meira

Duration: 2 and a half days

Recommended itinerary: We suggest you leave O Cebreiro and head to Santa María de Penamaior and from there to Santa María de Meira. Do not expect to find here the quickest way to get there, this is indicated by Google Maps; We propose routes along these roads used by the locals and that will take you to the most beautiful places of the Geodestino. Follow the pace you want, more or less, stay in one of the unique rural tourism lodgings and enjoy the local gastronomy without haste. SEE ROUTE

Santa María a Real from O Cebreiro to Santa María de Penamaior. 64 km, time: from 2 hours to whatever you want.

Santalla de Ribeira de Piquín, viewpoint of Barangón, Os Cangos

22 km, time: from 1 hour, but .... try to get to the Barangón viewpoint during daylight hours, it's worth it! And don't arrive at night to the Os Vaos church!...in addition to its fascinating location it will present you with an unsolved mystery.

Circular Hiking Route

To ascend to the almost 2000 meters of the emblematic Cuiña, from the no less emblematic village of Piornedo

Distance: 16 km ; positive difference in altitude: 1,200 meters, estimated time: 8 hours.

Solo hiking route

From Campa da Braña to Piornedo, ascending to the 2000 meters of the imposing Pico Mustallar.

Starting from Campa da Braña, this route will take you to discover authentic villages such as Vilaquinte, Navia de Suarna and Balouta, before facing the demanding sections towards Piornedo and returning to the starting point.
