Siles Tourist Office "El Sequero".
<p>In the far east of Andalusia is the village of <strong>Siles</strong>, famous for decades for its<strong> forestry</strong>. The tourist office is located in an old <strong>pineapple dryer</strong>, where from the 40's until the late 70's pine nuts were extracted to reforest other mountain areas of Spain. Today, the Sequero de Siles performs a similar function: it disperses information on all the details of the best visits that can be made in the Sierra de Segura.</p><p><br>It is located in a building with a remarkable history and its rehabilitation by the City Council of Siles has preserved its<strong> original structure and its name</strong>, making it a <strong>reference point</strong> for the understanding and appreciation of the<strong> natural and cultural environment of the region.</strong></p><p><br>It is distributed in 3 floors, on the first floor is the tourist office with panels and screens and pineapple drying machines. There is an auditorium where a half-hour audiovisual presentation is shown. One floor down there is an exhibition of the nature of the Sierra, another section with history with replicas of pieces.</p><p><br>They have a labyrinth, with images of the <strong>Sierra and focuses on wildlife area with 3 lines</strong>:<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> animals already disappeared, endangered, and the rest divided according to their habitat</span>. The last floor is focused on trades, agriculture and livestock, with projections that encourage non-consumerism.</p><p><br>The center also has a variety of didactic thematic spaces, among which the mycological information point and the space dedicated to the<strong> Trades of the Forest</strong> stand out.</p><p> </p>

<p>The Quesada Tourist Office offers visitors all the tourist information about the town, Quesada, the natural park of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas and the province of Jaén in general.</p><p> </p><p>It offers detailed and varied information about this mountain town and surroundings, the natural park and its environmental wealth, as well as information about different trails that run through the area, such as the <strong>Great Southern Forests Trail GR-247</strong> or a<strong> wide variety of trails on foot or by bike, etc.. </strong>All information is provided on paper. It also offers <strong>guided visits to the Roman Villa of Bruñel,</strong> during office hours, with or <strong>without prior arrangement.</strong></p><p> </p><p>The tourist office is a <strong>modern building </strong>located in the center of Quesada with <strong>accessible facilities</strong>. It has a fixed exhibition of cultural and natural heritage, an audiovisual room and a space with temporary exhibitions, as well as an<strong> Interpretation Center of Prehistoric and Roman Archaeological Heritage.</strong></p><p> </p><p>The manager and the workers are very knowledgeable about the region and are part of important networks of associations that enrich their work with the clients who come to the office. It has a large amount of physical resources (maps, brochures, leaflets, leaflets, CDs, books) that are offered to customers according to their needs.</p><p> </p>
