Organizing a trip to the Sierra del Segura is easy, but it's a good idea to keep a few recommendations in mind to enjoy it to the fullest. It's a large region, made up of 12 municipalities and numerous villages, where time seems to pass differently. - How to get there and get around. The Sierra del Segura is located in the southernmost part of the province of Albacete, bordering Jaén, Granada, and Murcia. Although it is well connected by road, there are no highways that cross it: that is part of its charm. - What to bring. Good hiking shoes, comfortable clothing suitable for the season, sunscreen, and, in summer, a swimsuit to enjoy the pools are essential. Binoculars are very useful, both for bird watching and for astro-tourism. Your camera will be your greatest ally: the landscapes are worth remembering.

- Traveling with the family. The Sierra del Segura is perfect for traveling with children. There are short and easy routes along the rivers, astronomical observatories, and interpretation centers that make learning fun. The villages are quiet and safe, ideal for a family vacation.
