Marine sensation in every corner
The islands are small territories where everything seems bigger, where everything has more impact: the sea, the wind, the intensity of color, the tranquility... Enjoy the sea and its influence during walks on the islands. Some examples:
- On the north island of the Cíes archipelago.
- Distance: 1700m from the information booth to Alto del Príncipe.

Path that ascends slowly from the sandy area of Rodas to the steep cliffs of Alto del Príncipe. On the way you can see blackthorns and gorse bushes, a sample of the vegetation typical of the island.
- On the island of Ons.
- Distance: 4000m (circular route).
- Duration: 1h 30min.
- Unevenness: 120m.
Ascend gently through the interior of the island to the lighthouse of Ons (not visitable). From the highest point of the island this emblematic lighthouse dominates the landscape of the island and the estuaries. We will return along the west side of the island until we reach the Caniveliñas inlet, which overlooks the harshness of the open sea.
- On the island of Sálvora.
- Distance: 1200m, from the pier to the lighthouse.
- Duration: 30 min (day only).
- Low difficulty.
The path between the pier and the lighthouse runs along the southern part of the island, between large granite boulders called bolos. This route is dotted with legends.
Several informative signs will be discovering why there is a mermaid on the beach of Almacén, among which rocks hides the Santa Compaña and the story of a shipwreck at the foot of the lighthouse.
- On the island of Cortegeda.
- Distance: 3.200m (self-guided circular route).
- Duration: 1h 15 min.
- Difficulty: low.
