Serranía de Cuenca
The Serranía de Cuenca is a landscape unlike any other, exquisitely sculpted by the passage of the ages and the capricious action of rushing waters. Its geological richness is evident in countless sites and hidden corners, highlighted by dense pine forests interspersed with narrow rivers and ravines that stretch as far as the eye can see, forming one of Spain’s largest forest areas. Much of the region is protected within the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park. This is home to iconic biodiversity: birds of prey and waterfowl, griffon vultures, mouflons, otters…
