Our ecotourism commitment

We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information

Our certificates:
Our ecotourism commitment:

1. Tourist accommodation integrated into the natural environment
Our accommodation is fully adapted to the protected natural landscape of rural La Palma, respecting local biodiversity and avoiding any intervention that alters the ecosystem. We grow native fruits and vegetables without chemical fertilizers, using only shredded palm leaves and organic compost. We share this living environment with our guests, inviting them to enjoy an authentic and sustainable space.

2. Interpretive visits and promotion of local heritage
Finca La Principal is an official stop on guided tours of the island, including cruise ship excursions. During these visits, we present local products, the guides explain the native flora, and show unique historical elements of the estate: the old traditional threshing floor, the original cistern (water tank), and the classic Canarian architecture. This allows visitors to connect with the history, culture, and territory in a respectful way.

3. Cultural and event space that promotes local talent
We organize both private and public events where local artists and visitors can present their work. In addition, every week we host a craft market where farmers and artisans sell locally sourced products and handmade items. In this way, we directly support the local economy, traditional crafts, talent, and the deseasonalization of tourism.

4. Wellness activities and connection with nature
We organize and host activities focused on holistic wellness and conscious connection with the natural environment. The farm hosts retreats, personal growth workshops, therapeutic sessions, painting and music workshops, and other educational gatherings that promote human development and emotional balance. Many of these initiatives are based on the principles of nature therapy, using the native landscape of La Palma as a living space with a healing and regenerative effect on people.

Living history and authentic surroundings of La Palma

Finca La Principal is an ecotourism destination located in a privileged rural setting on La Palma, where nature, culture, and well-being come together to offer an authentic and transformative experience. Our tourist accommodation, fully integrated into the landscape on an old 16th-century estate, allows visitors to enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by native flora, organic crops, and traditional Canarian architecture that has been lovingly preserved.

As part of the experience, we offer interpretive tours in which local guides explain the biodiversity of the environment, show sustainable crops, and present unique heritage elements of the estate: the old threshing floor used to thresh cereals, the historic cistern, and different Canarian constructions that tell the story of the deep relationship between humans and the land. These visits allow visitors to understand the importance of preserving the island's natural and cultural heritage.

Finca La Principal is also a cultural and community space, where we organize private events, artistic activities, and gatherings open to the public. Every week we host craft markets with locally sourced products and handmade items by local artisans, as well as an open stage for local and visiting artists. In addition, the estate is a healing place for retreats, personal growth workshops, and wellness-oriented sessions, where nature and professional guidance combine to promote inner clarity, creativity, and emotional balance.

The authenticity of the environment, the presence of native species, the natural silence, and the aesthetic coherence of the place create an ideal atmosphere for restoring physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. At Finca La Principal, nature not only accompanies the experience: it becomes a fundamental part of the process of personal connection and renewal.
