Our certificates:
Our ecotourism commitment:

- The meaning of the environments through which we travel is transmitted in a very pleasant way, understanding the ecosystem and landscape, its evolution and main components - The biodiversity of these protected areas, the key species of flora and fauna present, their current state of conservation and threat is explained. - The necessary behavior of the visitor in these protected areas is indicated under the premise that you should not notice that you have been there, also transferring it to the route traveled. The imperative need to carry all waste generated, including organic waste, is demanded. A cooperative group work is done by collecting all the waste that is found along the route, making an assessment of the impact caused by each one that is removed, as an exercise of environmental awareness in situ. - In addition, at the end of the field trip, the participants are encouraged to visit the village of El Barraco and get in touch with its inhabitants by walking through its streets, bars and stores, thus making the necessary link between the landscape (environment) and the people (those who live there). - The production centers of the most cutting-edge local gastronomic initiatives, with recognized international awards to their credit, which fully complete the experience enjoyed, highlighting the Don Juan del Águila Winery (PDO Cebreros), the Craft Beer Factory Raíz Cuadrada and the Elvira García Cheese Factory.

Come and discover the Natural Heritage of El Barraco

Hand in hand with expert guides in Natural Heritage Interpretation (Graduates in Environmental Sciences and Biology) and with great experience in attending groups in leisure time, in a very simple and enjoyable way, the ecosystems and landscapes through which we travel are explained. An integral vision of the environment is made, relating its climatic and geological components with the beings that inhabit it. By being in direct contact with the environment, it is easy to understand its meaning and why it has reached our days. There is a simple identification of the most significant species that are found on the way, identifying species of trees and shrubs by their appearance, shapes, types of leaves, as well as herbaceous plants by the aromas they exude, for their flowers, touch, ... We also mention the outstanding fauna species, identifying traces, sounds or their presence when we are lucky enough to see them. In addition to the waste generated, all the waste found during the trip is collected for its proper disposal at the end of the outing, identifying the environmental impacts they cause. Enjoying an activity as healthy as walking, filling the experience with all these contents, unconsciously provokes a very pleasant feeling of bonding, of feeling part of Nature. This is very positive, since we only appreciate what we know, we only value and respect what we love.
