The Quesos Monte Robledo cheese store offers artisan goat cheeses made with raw milk and natural curing, following the traditional recipes of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche and putting in value the local livestock work. These cheeses come from goats in extensive livestock grazing in the mountains, which contributes to the maintenance of the landscape and the conservation of the biodiversity of the environment.
Thanks to their quality and unique character, the cheeses have become an emblematic product of the area, strengthening the local economy and reinforcing the image of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche as a territory linked to artisanal and sustainable production.
The store sells different types of goat cheeses: cured cheeses, Torta de Aracena, cheeses in oil (known as Queso de Todo el Año or Queso de la Abuela), and cheeses with rosemary, fine herbs or paprika. They also offer cheese spreads combined with honey, aniseed or oil, designed for those who enjoy strong flavors.
