We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
- Raise awareness of the positive impact of organic production systems and dehydration as a sustainable preservation method.
- Disseminate good agricultural practices, agri-food innovation, and the value of local products, connecting visitors with the natural environment.
- Promote the deseasonalization of tourism and diversify the offer, combining gastronomic motivation with an emotional and educational experience in the rural environment of La Palma.
- Strengthen the link between local businesses, responsible consumers, and conservation entities, aligning the proposal with the attributes of the Soy Ecoturista brand and the principles of the World Biosphere Reserve.

We invite you to discover the roots of La Palma's rural landscape and organic farming on a unique day out with Vidaviva Ecofood. Our experience begins with a guided tour of one of our organic farms (mainly olive groves), where you can learn about local species and sustainable farming practices and enjoy the natural environment and landscape of Tijarafe, in the northwest of the island.
During the visit, you will actively participate in tasks related to the process of preparing fruit and vegetables for dehydration at our processing center. Depending on the season and possibilities, participants will be able to collaborate in some practical activities, such as preparing your own product to take home as a gift, learning about the process of preservation through dehydration and the associated nutritional and environmental values.
To finish, we share a fun and practical tasting of the products we have made, with blind tasting and gastronomic games, which highlight the complete cycle "from the land to the finished product." All this takes place in a friendly, educational, and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages direct contact with local agricultural traditions, care for biodiversity, and healthy gastronomy.
An enriching experience for families, groups, or travelers interested in connecting with the rural world from a participatory and sustainable perspective, enjoying the flavor and history of La Palma.
