- We prioritize the purchase of cow's milk to make our cheeses from local farmers - We try to buy as much as possible from local suppliers, not only products but also other services - In our store we sell other locally produced products in addition to cheese. - The whey produced in the process of making our cheese is collected and used by local farmers to feed pigs - We actively collaborate in various actions of the Tourism Sustainability Plan of Onís aimed at making tourism compatible with the conservation of biodiversity and the promotion of local consumption. This collaboration has materialized in the support to the promotion of local products km0 (meat and cheese).

Gamonéu cheese, one of the gastronomic jewels of the Principality of Asturias as you have never seen it before. We propose a unique experience, a visit to an Asturian cheese factory to learn about the whole process of making this iconic Asturian cheese from the hand of our producers, experienced cheesemakers, who make this handmade cheese one of the most coveted gastronomic treasures in the world. We are waiting for you in Benia de Onis! The visit consists of three parts. The first one takes place in our cheese factory, where we make Gamonéu cheese daily. In the second part we will go into a hut, an exact replica of those used by shepherds in the sheepfolds of the Picos de Europa. Finally, a tasting of our products.
