Outing-workshop for ratafia elaboration
<p>We will walk through the surroundings of the village of Montseny to learn about the plants involved in the production of ratafia, a very traditional handmade liquor of our lands: where they grow, how are their leaves, flowers, which part of the plant we will use.<br><br>How should we collect the plants to be as respectful as possible with the environment and for the preservation of the species, both plants and fauna.<br><br>Later we will carry out the workshop of elaboration of the liquor, following a recipe of our grandmothers. <br><br>Little by little, the collected plants will be introduced into the alcohol to macerate for 40 days.<br><br>Colors and smells will be mixed to open our senses and to enjoy a fun experience in the heart of the Montseny Natural Park.</p>

<p>We will move to the most rural Montseny and away from civilization to travel back in time. Surrounded by a spectacular landscape with privileged views, a local guide will explain the characteristics of this environment and the trades and lifestyle that had the inhabitants of yesteryear. <br><br>We will discover how to work wool, a material that has fallen into disuse but whose products offer an infinite number of applications. With the help of a craftswoman who is an expert in the elaboration of wool products, we will create a souvenir that will bring out the artist in us. <br><br>After learning and working, we will calm the appetite with a meal with local products (from farmers, shepherds, producers... of the environment) in the threshing floor of a 12th century farmhouse, an unbeatable place.</p>
