An important geological, archaeological and cultural heritage.
The Maestrazgo Geopark stands out for its rich and varied geological and paleontological heritage, a complete record of the history of the Earth over the last 200 million years. This territory is marked by the seal of quality in geodiversity, a privileged corner to get lost and isolated from traffic, noise and agglomerations... a place marked by unique spaces that patiently has shaped the passage of time.
In the Maestrazgo Geopark there are 67 Places of Geological Interest and two geological environments of International Importance (Global Geosites): paleontological sites, chasms, curious formations, spectacular folds, gorges and ravines that offer visitors a unique offer.
These scenarios encourage the practice of active tourism in harmony with the natural environment, such as hiking, mountain biking, caving, canyoning or climbing.
