A house in the countryside, an orchard, a century-old linden tree, green meadows with cows grazing near the cliffs.... A few days away from the rush and schedules, those vacations in the village... The smell of freshly mowed grass, the sound of a meadow in bloom. Something simply unforgettable. Surrounded by meadows with murias and cows grazing near cliffs, the meadows of “Les Mariñes” típico landscape near the river of Villaviciosa. Close your eyes and imagine.... Green meadows, stone walls, cliffs, hidden animals. It is only a matter of opening them, something that seems easy but not all of us are able to contemplate the beautiful... Do you want us to help you change the way you look? In the Casa del Naturalista we are going to know the mechanisms of nature, those that seem forgotten but are the basis of all things. Stop to observe the wild, that spider that goes unnoticed or that solitary bee that works to get unknowingly a seed plant. Our goal: to guide people to understand and reflect on the relationship that all living beings have on the planet. We offer a 2-night stay in a double room with bathroom, with a rich breakfast special of the house. And two 2-hour workshops to be distributed in the two days at the visitor's convenience. - Investigating the soil. A tour of the soil brings us closer to the exciting world of decomposers, the great unknown and sometimes so unfairly treated. We will learn about their important mission, we will look for them with magnifying glasses and we will try to observe them with respect and sympathy. - Ecological garden. In é l will be treated in a general way on the main aspects of ecological agriculture ó gica: A garden – garden ín in harmony ía with nature, plant cycles, soil structure, fauna and auxiliary flora, “Together, but not scrambled” (association and crop rotation), “Target, do not work the soil” (tillage, sowing and planting ó n). The workshop will be practical to the extent possible depending on the time and interests of the participants.
