Discover three protected areas and high mountain trails overlooking the National Park, home to unique birds and mammals.

DAY 1:
- Arrival and reception at the eco rural tourism house.
- Afternoon guided visit to the medieval village of Ainsa, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain and only 15 minutes drive from the accommodation.
 
DAY 2:
History, birds and high mountain mammals.
- We will travel by 4x4 on the track that ascends the valley of the Real river, the highest in the Pyrenees. It allows us to contemplate from a privileged position the north face of the Monte Perdido massif, the Sierra de Pineta as well as the vertical abysses of the Barrosa valley.
- Witness of the mining and industrial past of these mountains is shown as a very interesting point in the complex geology of the Pyrenees.
- One of the key points of the episodes of the Bielsa Stock Exchange of 1938.
- Excellent point for the observation of birds and high mountain mammals.
- Low difficulty. Half day.
 
Day 3:
In the country of the bearded vulture.
One of the largest birds on the planet flies over the skies of the Escuaín gorges, sharing its habitat with vultures, Egyptian vultures, golden eagles and other rock eagles. You will witness their flight on a 3 km route.
In the afternoon visit to the Aínsa ecomuseum of the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture and shelter for irrecoverable birds of prey.
Half day.
 
DAY 4:
The Bal de Chistau, the secret valley.
We will discover on our tour one of the best examples of mosaic landscapes, with ash trees, poplars and thorn bushes forming plant barriers between the mowing meadows.an ideal territory for butterfly lovers.
We will explore the headwaters of the rivers visiting the valley of Tabernes in a comfortable but spectacular circular hiking route, which will take us through one of
the last strongholds of the capercaillie on the southern slopes of the Pyrenees.

We will discover the oldest rocks of Sobrarbe and follow the trail of the black woodpecker and roe deer.
Picnic on the banks of the river.
Return to the lodging around 19h, passing by the Saravillo cheese factory-shop if there is time.
Technical data: a quiet route of about 10km, with an elevation gain of 500 meters and a time of 6h.

Departure from accommodation after breakfast.

Activity details

We are located in the heart of the Pyrenees, between three protected areas of great ecological interest. An experience through magnificent high mountain routes and great geological value.

Viewpoints and watchtowers overlooking the National Park.
We will observe a great variety of birds of prey and alpine birds, endemic flora and mammals such as the chamois and, of course, the majestic bearded vulture.
This activity includes 4 nights accommodation and breakfast in a rural eco-tourism house.
