How to get there?

We are in the center of the province of Huesca, specifically Barbastro, capital of the region, is 50 kilometers from Huesca.
If you come by road with your own vehicle, you will have to take the A-22 (Huesca - Lérida). Once there, there are different exits to access Guara Somontano. If you come by bus, the nearest bus station is in Barbastro.
If you choose the train, both in Huesca (50km away) and in Lérida (90km) there are stations where AVE trains arrive.
And if you prefer the plane, the nearest airports are Zaragoza, Lérida and Barcelona, 125, 90 and 225 kilometers respectively from Barbastro.
Discover Guara Somontano by car for a freer and more flexible experience. Town halls and local companies promote environmental conservation, offering an extensive network of electric car charging stations to recharge electric vehicles, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability.

Where to sleep?

In Guara Somontano you have a wide variety of tourist accommodations: hotels, hostels, pensions, aparthotels, outdoor accommodations, rural tourism houses or apartments, hostels and shelters, houses for tourist use or tourist apartments.
In all of them you will feel at home. On your visit, choose "ecotourist accommodations" committed to nature conservation and local development.
Remember that free camping is prohibited in Aragon.

Our restaurants are the best place to taste the typical products and dishes of Guara Somontano and here you will find many options. But you will also find cafes or wine bars where you can enjoy a good glass of Somontano PDO wine and a tapas.

For additional information, you can contact our tourist offices, where we will be happy to help you. In Alquézar, the Regional Tourist Office is open seven days a week throughout the year. The Cave Art Center serves as a starting point to explore the cave paintings of the Río Vero Cultural Park, offering a fascinating experience of the prehistory of Alto Aragón.
 
The Bierge Interpretation Center, within the Sierra y Cañones de Guara Natural Park, offers an interactive tour highlighting the natural and cultural values of the region, with an emphasis on birds of prey and traditional life. It also has a visitor service point to provide information and material about the visit to the Park.
