Fresh water from the mountains
The mountains of the Ambroz Valley feed small gorges that cross its villages, and in its riverbeds are installed in summer floodgates that allow you to enjoy large natural pools, with lawns and well-equipped beach bars to enjoy the local cuisine.
The largest are those of Abadía in the river Ambroz and Casas del Monte in the Garganta Ancha, but the ones in Segura de Toro and Gargantilla are also very popular. The last one open is in Baños de Montemayor. It is a relaxing experience, with fresh, clean water and views of the mountains.
