The Geopark of Granada is a large territory with 4,722 km2 and 47 municipalities belonging to the regions of Guadix, Baza, Huéscar and a municipality in the region of Los Montes. Its wide extension allows varied travel possibilities starting your experience from any of the municipalities that make it up.
By car:
The A92 highway, which crosses the Geopark almost in its entirety, distributes access to all municipalities, and this is joined by a good network of roads connecting the different municipalities and areas of interest.
By plane:
Federico García Lorca Airport (GRANADA): located 70 km from Guadix and 112 km from Baza. From Granada, there are buses that connect frequently with both Guadix and Baza.
Málaga Costa del Sol Airport (MÁLAGA): requires private transport or travel to Granada Capital from where you can take a bus to Guadix, Baza or Huéscar or train to Guadix.
Almeria Airport (ALMERIA): requires private transfer or you can take bus to Guadix, Baza or Cúllar, or train to Guadix.
By train:
GRANADA train station: with connection to Guadix train station.
GUADIX train station: the only town in the Granada Geopark linked to the train, with connections to Granada, Almeria and Madrid-Chamartin.
By bus:
Access different towns in the Geopark territory on routes from Granada, Jaen, Malaga, Murcia, Almeria, or even through the Madrid-Guadix route. Consult the possibilities in ALSA.

How to enter the Geopark:
The Geopark has no "gates". When you arrive at any point of the 47 municipalities that make up the Geopark, you are already in the Geopark! You only have to decide what you are interested in visiting: routes and trails through the spectacular badlands or high mountains; archaeological sites; museums or interpretation centers; walks through the cave districts; etc.
