Supernatural paradise
Discover the impressive Natural Monument of the Volcanic Lagoon "La Alberquilla", an exclusive volcanic outcrop characterized by its hydromagmatic explosion crater, forming a unique maar in the region.
In this guided tour, you will enjoy the beauty of the quartzite crests surrounding the lagoon, composed of quartzite and slate banks of the Ordovician, all in the beautiful scenery of the Sierra de Puertollano.
During the activity, we will enter the captivating environment of the pastures of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona Natural Park, where we will explore the history of the Mesta and its ancestral traditions. Part of the tour will be done in our own vehicles from the Municipal Park, driving along the public road of Olivar de Carlos. At the end, you will have free time to visit the local stores and taste typical products of the region.

Do not forget
- Comfortable shoes adapted to the type of route and a walking stick if you have one, it will be a great help!
- Comfortable clothes and shoes, adapted to the type of activity.
- A small backpack with: enough water, plenty of water, snacks and sunscreen, a hat and personal belongings that you think are convenient.
- If you have binoculars and a magnifying glass, a bird, plant or animal guide, take it with you, it will be a great help.
- Bring warm clothes in the winter months.
