Our territory is one of the favorite destinations for birdwatchers in Galicia. Its diversity is home, throughout the year, to an extensive list of species, from the cliffs of the Dexo coast, home to species typical of these coastal cliffs, to places like the Burgo estuary or the beach of Sada, it is possible to observe and photograph in autumn and winter a multitude of waterfowl at very close range, thanks to the fact that they are accustomed to the presence of passers-by.Some species also winter in the Betanzos estuary and in the Abegondo-Cecebre reservoir, and there are numerous observations in this region of birds that are very rare in Galicia, the peninsula and even Europe.
