Follow in the footsteps of Basque ancestors

A wide network of 19 trails allows the hiker to discover the beautiful landscapes of the natural park of Peña de Aia, observe its flora, fauna and discover the human footprint through the many vestiges that can be observed. Here are three interesting ideas to enjoy this natural park:

Back to Arditurri: this route allows you to get to know the surroundings of the Arditurri Mines, both the mining infrastructures and the seams, witnesses of the mining exploitation that took place until recently. The tour starts at the Arditurri interpretation center and, taking the track that heads towards Unaileku, you reach the canal. From there you can access the Arditurri cycle path to begin the climb to Otsamantegi. Once you reach the sculpture, descend to the interpretation center.
