Roads That Tell Stories
There are places you discover by looking out the window. Others can only be truly appreciated when you explore them on foot.
In Tajo Internacional, the trails wind through pastures, Mediterranean forests, riverbanks, and villages that still bear the mark of those who have traveled them for centuries. Ancient trade routes, rural roads, and marked trails let you explore the region at a different pace—stopping at a lookout point, getting up close to a monument, or listening to the sounds of nature.
You can choose a short route for a leisurely stroll, a botanical trail to explore the Mediterranean vegetation, or a more challenging hike that combines scenery, heritage, and breathtaking panoramic views of the Tagus.
We’ve selected a few routes to help you get started. Check the distance, estimated time, and difficulty before setting out, review the entire route, and plan your excursion with the latest information.
