We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
- This activity shows the culture of olive oil as a fundamental part of the local culture, showing the particularities of the area and its link with the economy, environment, culture and local way of life.
- The activity is guided by a local expert, and rigorous information is transmitted, far from folklore, while at the same time accessible to everyone, in a pleasant way, using techniques of heritage interpretation, and in small groups to ensure maximum quality.
- The impact is minimal, since it is carried out in the surroundings of the protected area, outside the protected zone, contributing to decongest the most saturated areas of the Natural Park. In addition, sustainability criteria are applied, such as the reduction of waste generation (reusable glass cups and glasses, refillable water bottles), the use of recycled materials (recycled paper napkins) and the separation and recycling of the waste generated.
- We support local development by offering and promoting only local products from the province of Jaén and with a policy of hiring local people.

We take you to the ancient olive trees of the Sierra de Cazorla, to walk among their trunks, twisted by the passage of centuries and by the hands that, generation after generation, have worked them to collect their fruits. Enjoy this unique landscape in the world and immerse yourself in the culture of the olive grove world while we tell you the secrets that have made this tree the most mythical.
Do you want to see how the best extra virgin olive oil is made? We propose you to visit the facilities of one of the most modern and largest olive mills in the world, while we explain you which are the critical points that must be taken care of to get a great oil. Enjoy a unique experience that only an expert can provide, as the visits will be guided by a specialist agronomist who has been working in the sector for more than 20 years.
Finally, you will be provided with official tasting material so that you can test your senses as an expert taster, tasting two varieties of oil and evaluating the positive attributes of olive oil and distinguishing the defects that you should avoid when buying your oil. And of course, you won't leave without discovering how to get the most out of extra virgin olive oil for your health and in the kitchen. Did you know that olive oil contains the most powerful vegetable antioxidant known?
