We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
- With the exhibition resources available, the guides of the Museum of Nature are real experts transmitting in a very entertaining and entertaining way the keys to better understand the ecosystems in the municipality, the region and the Central System.
- Knowledge of the biodiversity of these protected areas, with special attention to key species such as the imperial eagle and the black vulture, their current state of conservation and threat.
- Necessary behavior of the visitor in these protected areas under the premise, that you do not notice that you have been there. Imperative need to carry all waste generated, even organic, or that is found in passing when visiting these places or any other natural environment.
- Positive aspects that visitors can enjoy by avoiding access to these areas in periods of greater demand (vacations, long weekends). The tranquility and silence of visiting these protected areas in small groups favors a greater sense of integration with nature and generates less impact by presence. It is a way to compensate the seasonality with the influx of visitors to rural environments, their environments and their villages, outside the dates of high demand.
- In addition, we publicize and encourage visitors to visit the production centers of the most cutting-edge local gastronomic initiatives, with recognized international awards to their credit, which fully complete the experience of visiting the museum and the town of El Barraco, highlighting the Don Juan del Águila Winery (PDO Cebreros), the Craft Beer Factory Raíz Cuadrada and the Elvira García Cheese Factory.

All recreated with a degree of realism that surprises children and adults.
The visitor will believe he is part of the ecosystem that is being explained!
