- At Camín de Muniellos, we are committed to protecting biodiversity and local development, viewing tourism as a tool for conserving our environment and supporting the community that inhabits it. - Our house has been built in keeping with traditional architecture and using local materials such as stone, wood, and slate, thereby reducing environmental impact and maintaining the identity of the region.- The accommodation is heated with wood that we produce ourselves, which we cut and manage responsibly, promoting the sustainable use of forest resources.- The water in the apartments comes from a well and we have aerators on the taps, radiators with temperature regulators, dual-flush toilets, double-glazed windows, LED light bulbs, and solar panels, which allows us to optimize water and energy consumption. - We separate and recycle waste by providing separate containers for guests.- We recommend walking routes to promote sustainable mobility. - We send guests all information about the area digitally, thus avoiding the use of paper. - We actively purchase and promote the purchase of local products to our guests, supporting local producers and businesses and promoting a circular economy that benefits the rural environment.- We collaborate with the Fuentes del Narcea Rural Tourism Association in the activity "Ecotourism in Danger of Extinction," in which we participate through our beekeeping activity "The cycle of honey from the forest to the table."- As beekeepers, we contribute directly to the conservation of biodiversity, as bees play an essential role in pollination and the balance of ecosystems. - Our work seeks to protect this key species and raise awareness among our visitors about its importance.- We believe in responsible tourism that is respectful and committed to nature, and we encourage our guests to enjoy the environment in a conscious way, helping us to preserve it for future generations.
