At Casa de Aldea en Agroturismo La Valleja we are committed to the sustainability and development of our rural communities, promoting respect for the natural and cultural environment of the Picos de Europa. Since 1997, we have been closely linked to our farms in organic production and conservation initiatives. Among our actions are:- We offer practical workshops linked to local agri-food activities, such as cheese-making, canning and organic farming courses, with the aim of making our visitors aware of the importance of sustainable management for life in mountain villages.- La Valleja applies the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle in all its processes, ensuring a low environmental impact. We inform our guests about these practices through materials displayed in the common areas.- We have a library with books on the geography, ethnography, flora and fauna of the region, as well as guides to recognize wild species, so that our guests can learn more about the natural environment that surrounds them.- We recommend hiking trails and local guides, in addition to promoting the consumption of local products, providing information on restaurants and local stores where you can taste and purchase local products.- We serve dinners at La Valleja. At La Valleja we serve dinners and breakfasts made mainly with our own, organic and KM0 products, guaranteeing a sustainable and healthy gastronomic offer.- We have solar thermal panels that reduce fuel consumption and we manage the heating efficiently through a domotic system.- We are members of the Ecoagroturismo Foundation, supporting the development of a tourism that respects the environment and local culture.

La Valleja is a large Indian house renovated in 1997, decorated in a rustic and boho style. Independent house of 3 floors in which are distributed 7 rooms with bathroom for 2 or more people (each with its own bathroom).
It has a kitchen, living-dining room, living room with hammock and hall. The first floor is entirely adapted for people with reduced mobility. Outside you can enjoy the terrace overlooking the Picos de Europa, garden with barbecue and covered area with table soccer.
Located in a small rural village in the Biosphere Reserve of Los Picos de Europa.
First: Reservations will be confirmed only if the corresponding advance payment has been made, being valid only for the persons and dates indicated.
Second: At the entrance of the house the rest of the amount of the stay will be paid. We reserve the right to ask for a deposit of 200€ which will remain in deposit and will be returned no later than 48 hours after departure if there are no damages or extra cleaning costs.
Third: Check-in time will be from 16h to 20h and check-out time until 12h.
Fourth: Pets are allowed but the type of pet must be indicated and the conditions must be agreed upon. In any case, the pet cannot stay alone in the lodging. The lodging has the right to ask for an extra deposit per pet, prior notice to the guests.
Fifth: The rent includes: bed and bathroom linen, bathroom utensils, running water, electricity, household appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, electric oven, blender, toaster and electric kettle, gas stove for paellas) crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen utensils, barbecue utensils, cleaning utensils, household furniture, In case the house is returned in bad conditions of cleanliness or order, both exterior and interior, including the cleaning of the barbecue and the removal of garbage that must be done by the person responsible for the reservation, the costs incurred will be deducted from the deposit paid.
Sixth: The owner may automatically terminate the contract in the following cases:
Excess of unauthorized occupants.
Failure to comply with the usual rules of civility, hygiene, coexistence or public order.
Seventh: EXCLUDED LIABILITIES:
1.- Thefts, losses or damages that the clients may suffer during their stay in the lodging.
2.-The cut of electricity or water supply.
3.-The breakage of electrical appliances or any other appliance that is part of the accommodation.
the lodging will have to communicate it immediately to us to carry out the corresponding warning to the opportune technical service, but the non assistance of this service will not be object of any indemnification.
The works of the City Council or other companies outside the village house that are carried out in the vicinity and may affect the normal development of the client's stay.
5.- Any other major, natural or similar cause that prevents the enjoyment of the facilities of the village house.
