Process of implementation of the 0 waste/ 0 waste certificate. We not only manage the waste generated but we also focus our activity on generating as little waste as possible.? We have an advanced energy recovery system. In thalassotherapy, a large amount of energy is consumed to heat the seawater to 33ºC. From the steam generated by this heating, a significant amount of energy is recovered and reused to maintain the pool temperature at 33ºC.? Our staff is aware and trained in the natural wealth that surrounds us and thanks to this we try to actively educate all the guests and clients of the Hotel. In this way we help to conserve and respect the environment as much as possible? We are a collaborating entity of the Geopark of the Basque Coast and as such, we participate in all kinds of actions and events that are organized to disseminate the Geopark and its environment? We are also members of the local association of traders, where we try to promote the local economy. In addition, in our restaurant we try to consume local products in order to boost the local economy.
