Sierra Tórtola is a rural tourism company located in the village of Hinojales, in the heart of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park. Hinojales is a peaceful white village, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting, in a paradisiacal natural setting perfect for outdoor activities.
This corner of the Sierra is a perfect refuge for those seeking silence, authenticity, and landscapes that still retain the slow pace of rural life.
We have two country houses, located opposite each other in the center of the village, next to the parish church and the viewpoint. Country House 1 accommodates 4 people and Country House 2 accommodates up to 11 people, both with a swimming pool.
We are an ideal starting point for exploring the entire Sierra de Huelva and southern Extremadura, and from where you can take numerous scenic routes in the surrounding area. Aracena and Jabugo are 25 minutes away, Seville, Huelva, and Badajoz are 100 km away. Zafra is 60 minutes away. Hinojales is 25 minutes from the Gruta de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders) in Aracena; 5 minutes from the Laguna de Cañaveral de León, a natural pool located in the town center; 15 minutes from the Cuevas de Fuentes de León Natural Monument; 60 minutes from the Tentudía Monastery in Calera de León; 20 minutes from the Capote Celtic Archaeological Site in Higuera la Real; and 40 km from Portugal (Barrancos).
Casa Rural Sierra Tórtola 2 offers 500 square meters of comfortable accommodations, allowing guests to enjoy time with family and friends while also relaxing in the privacy of their rooms, which are separate from the common areas. The house is ideal for large families, groups of friends, and corporate events.
Bedrooms: The house has five cozy double bedrooms with mountain views. Spacious and tastefully decorated, they blend harmoniously with the surroundings. One bedroom is adapted for guests with reduced mobility. All bedrooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning and heating, and a 42-inch Smart TV.
Living room, kitchen, and dining area: In winter, the heart of the house is its large living room, an open space separate from the bedrooms, featuring a wood-burning stove. It's perfect for spending unforgettable moments with family or friends. There's a cozy area with sofas and a 50-inch TV, as well as a small library and fun board games. There's also a separate dining area with rush-seated tables and chairs, and two high chairs for children. The kitchen is separated from the living/dining area by a charming rustic bar. It's a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, induction hob, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, and all the necessary cooking utensils.
Pool and barbecue area: a 300-square-meter space with a private pool and an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue. This idyllic outdoor retreat offers a relaxing swim during the summer and beautiful sunsets overlooking the mountains. At night, the pool transforms into a fantastic, intimate space where you can have fun and admire the starry skies of Hinojales. The outdoor kitchen is a cheerful and peaceful spot, equipped with everything you need to enjoy a delicious meal with friends.

Hotel Rural Finca La Media Legua
Located in a chestnut grove on the outskirts of Aracena, in the heart of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park, this eco-tourist accommodation has 12 rural apartments with fireplace with excellent views of the countryside and trails to get into the mountain landscape and enjoy one of the star activities of the area: hiking.
All our apartments have living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and porch or terrace overlooking the garden.
The establishment also has a hotel room with private bathroom, terrace overlooking the pool and a small kitchenette at one end.
Our rates include self-service breakfast in the same apartment with homemade bread (kilometer zero) extra virgin olive oil, tomato, butter, jam, coffee, cola-cao, infusions, etc..
We provide our guests with the first load of firewood for the fireplace, although all rooms have efficient hot/cold air conditioning systems.
Finca La Media Legua is an ideal place to hold events for companies and/or individuals, with a meeting room and a large outdoor area.
Finally, in Hotel Rural Finca La Media Legua we have reception with personalized attention, barbecue area and wood oven, playground and swimming pool surrounded by chestnut trees to relax in the summer season (open approximately from late May to early October), we are Nordic Walking center and tourist information point of the Natural Park.
