We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
At Tartessian Birds, we are committed to respecting, promoting, and conserving our region, and we work toward this goal every day. We have signed the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Doñana, demonstrating our commitment to nature conservation and local development. Some of the initiatives we carry out include:
- We offer activities adapted for people with disabilities or functional diversity: We have developed interpretive trails and experiences for people with visual and hearing impairments, including “soundscape” activities in collaboration with industry experts, making our company
a leader in accessibility.
- Ecosystem restoration: We participate in projects to restore and rehabilitate various natural areas and former branches of the Guadalquivir River that have been affected by changes in land use and habitat caused by human activity, as well as initiatives in protected natural areas such as the Dehesa de Abajo concerted nature reserve.
- We support local development: We maintain active collaboration with various local associations in the region (environmental, social, and cultural) to promote knowledge and awareness of the natural, cultural, and ethnographic heritage of the Doñana Natural Area.

We’ll mainly explore the marshes and rice paddies of the Doñana Biosphere Reserve, located within the municipalities of the province of Seville, accompanied by expert local guides; we’ll learn why Doñana is one of the world’s most important sites for birdlife.
Through the “Birds of Tartessos” experience, you’ll learn about the birds, their distribution, interesting facts, and their historical interaction with humans in this part of the world.
The Doñana Natural Area, heir to the Tartessian culture, has birds as eternal sentinels of what this territory was, is, and must be for our environment.
