In the Reception Building you can get general information about the general characteristics of the Nature Reserve, protection figures, routes that can be done,
In another building known as the Exhibition Hall, we propose a tour of the Iruelas Valley: "Iruelas: from winter to spring":
Spring: The Gorges of the Valley, with a theme around water, streams, rivers and gorges, flowering and the awakening of the fauna.
Summer: Themed around the breeding season in wildlife, especially birds. With a little time and patience, we can listen to the singing of different birds. We see "The grandparents of the Valley", photos that show us the "giants" of the Reserve such as oaks, pines, yews, chestnut trees, ....
Autumn: The autumn ground. Around the most striking deciduous trees at this time of the year, ground cover and soil formation and mammals. We discover the change of color of the Valley, yellows, oranges, ochres,... appear among the green of the pines.
Winter: The history of the valley. The cold arrives with bare trees among evergreen pines. We explain the state of winter life in the Reserve to introduce the geological, morphological and landscape history of the Valley.
THE BLACK VULTURE
Inside the same exhibition building there is a room specially dedicated to the Black Vulture, jewel of the Reserve, where we are given information about the biology of this vulture and the colony of the Reserve.
If you prefer to see the Valley from a "bird's eye view", you can take an interactive flight.
THE FOREST AND THE VALLEY
Another area of the exhibition area is dedicated to the Forest, with a representation of the most emblematic trees and an audiovisual that explains the many benefits that forests provide us.
If you wish to enjoy an exceptional view of the Valley and the Burguillo Reservoir, you only have to look out onto the terrace with interpretive panels to see the landscape.
THE MEMORY CORNER
Located in another small building on the site, this space is dedicated to showing what life was like in this area in the mid-twentieth century.
It shows life in the village, resin, wood and the work of the forest rangers.
AUDIOVISUAL AREA
It is located in another building. This room has a capacity for more than 50 people and is where the audiovisual about the Iruelas Valley is projected.
This room is also used as a meeting room, conference celebrations, exhibitions, activities... since the Casa de la Reserva is also intended to be a space for the local population.
