La Posada del Agua is a beach and mountain hotel. so you do not have to choose, We are on the banks of the reservoir of El Burguillo, in front of the Natural Reserve of Valle de Iruelas, we are part of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism and we are Information Point of the Reserve.
La Posada has a beautiful contemporary decor with wooden floors. It has spacious rooms with desk and bathroom with bathrobe and hairdryer. Some have views of the lake.
The food is homemade and seasonal with some of the highest quality local products of the region, such as PGI Avila Meat, goat cheeses Elvira Garcia, Redondo Eggs, organic honey or wines from D.O. Vinos de Cebreros, all served directly by the producers.
We offer you to enjoy magnificent views over the nature from a modern hotel, for everyone, in a relaxed and respectful atmosphere. In summer you can go down to our beach, eat on the terrace and practice swimming, canoeing and sailing. In winter the plan is to walk in the countryside, go horseback riding and enjoy the fireplace.
The reservoir of El Burguillo is formed by the Alberche River, which collects water from the north face of Gredos, where you can practice canoeing, sailing and paddle surfing. On its banks is the Natural Reserve of Valle re Iruelas where there are routes of different lengths and difficulties.
We love dogs and we like them to visit us but we can only accommodate them in suite Nº1, which has direct access to the garden. Ask us about the availability we have as it is a very demanded room.
