- Linkage with Protected Areas: Our activities are linked to the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona Natural Park, allowing visitors to enjoy and educate about its biodiversity and fragility through guided interpretation.
- Biodiversity Conservation and Impact Minimization: We collaborate with naturalist associations to protect native species and organize volunteer waste collection and reforestation, promoting responsible practices that respect flora and fauna.
- Support for Local Development and De-seasonalization: We work with local businesses to boost the local economy and generate employment.
- Community Awareness and Participation: We carry out environmental education workshops and volunteer activities, citizen participation and awareness-raising, promoting community responsibility and the preservation of local traditions.

Discover the landscapes and flavors in Sierra Madrona
Ecoturing consists of a guided tour to discover Sierra Madrona, the best preserved forests of Sierra Morena. The guided route includes a photo safari to observe its fauna and interpret the landscapes, forests, rock art and the night sky of Sierra Madrona.
The madroño in autumn, red fruits of exquisite taste. Sierra Madrona houses in its interior a multitude of natural values of incalculable value, not only the fauna that inhabits it is interesting, under its arboreal mantle hides innumerable botanical curiosities.
Activity package for a weekend trip
Day 1 (Friday):
1. Arrival and reception.
2. Dinner and accommodation at Hotel in Sierra Madrona.
3. Additional activity (optional, subject to availability): Thermal bath of 30 minutes in the Baths of Fuencaliente (available from April to December).
Day 2 (Saturday):
1. Excursion from Fuencaliente to Solana del Pino.
2. Additional activity (optional, subject to availability): Photographic safari "Berrea y más” (in 4x4, reservations required).
3. Wildlife observation. Walking tour to collect seasonal fruits (madroño) and observation of Mediterranean flora (4 hours).
4. Traditional lunch at the local restaurant "Anka Loren".
5. Visit to Embutidos Artesanos El Lucero (demonstration and tasting workshop).
6. Evening stargazing - Starlight viewpoint (guided tour of 2 hours).
Day 3 (Sunday):
1. Landscape route through Sierra Madrona and Solana del Pino.
2. Guided visit to the “Pinturas rupestres el Peñón del Águila” (1 hour).
3. Bath of oak and art therapy workshop (healing in nature).
4. Workshop on the elaboration of preserves and jams (including blackberry chutney, 2 hours).
5. Lunch at a local restaurant (options: "Migas manchegas" or "gachas de pito").
Gata Verde collaborates with other entrepreneurs and establishments in the Sierra Morena ZEC-ZEPA of the Natura 2000 Network.

Do not forget
- A comfortable shoe that is adapted to the type of route and a walking stick if you have one will be of great help!
- Clothing and footwear adapted to the type of activity.
- A mat or chair for observation.
- A small backpack with: plenty of water, snacks and sunscreen, hat and personal belongings.
- If you have binoculars and a magnifying glass, a bird, plant or animal guide will be of great help.
- Bring warm clothes in the winter months.
- The activities of hot springs, photo safari are optional, not included in the price of the activity.
- Lunches, dinners and lodging are recommendations for the group. They are not included in the price of the activity.
