Guided walk through the National Park of Garajonay.

The laurel forest of La Gomera, a surviving forest from the Tertiary Era, is home to a great diversity of species, some of them unique in the world.

Wrapped in the mists coming from the trade winds, it invites us to discover its secrets, learn about its singularities and enjoy its freshness and beauty.

We will meet at the bus station in San Sebastián de La Gomera and head towards the centre of the island until we reach the Garajonay National Park, where our hiking route begins.

We will enter the ancient laurel forest on foot and following in the footsteps of the island's ancient inhabitants we will learn a lot about the medicinal herbs that grow in this "forest pharmacy."

If time permits, we will enjoy the views of the Vallehermoso ravine to the majestic Teide.

Our route will take us along narrow and somewhat inclined old paths until we reach the hamlet of Las Hayas, where our transport will be waiting for us to return to San Sebastián de La Gomera.
