- We promote the region’s cuisine by offering only local products, support the local economy, and assist various community groups.
- We preserve and share culture and history, build community, and organize clean-up efforts to clear the banks of the Miño River.

A guided boat tour lasting about two hours through the Miño Canyon in the Ribeira Sacra Miñota, aboard Quinta Sacra’s Narwhal semi-rigid boats (capacity for 9 or 15 people, depending on the boat).
The tour follows the river’s course, bordered by two routes to Santiago—the French Way and the Winter Way—between the towns of Portomarín and Belesar, passing through the oldest oak forests on the planet, the heroic vineyards of the Ribeira Sacra DO, and the highest concentration of rural Romanesque architecture in Europe.
During the tour, there is the option to make various stops (at no extra cost) to enjoy the spectacular Fervenza de Augacaída waterfall, surrounded by forests, and the Castro de Marce, where, according to oral tradition, the Xacias—the mythological beings of the Miño—dwell. You can also visit a bend in the river or the island of Sernande (also known as the island of Maiorga).
The activity is led by the Quinta Sacra team, pioneers in the Ribeira Sacra (since 2008), with commentary on the canyon’s natural and cultural heritage.
