From IZKIRA URDAIBAI, S.L. we are committed to the conservation of the biodiversity of Urdaibai and local development, therefore, we carry out the following actions:
- We practice and transmit to our visitors the good environmental practices in relation to the observation of fauna and flora of the environment, as accredited members of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism of Urdaibai-Busturialdea (CETs).
- We are aware that every action counts, and in our commitment to be a socially and environmentally responsible company, we have decided to join forces with "Forests without Borders" to contribute to the health and sustainability of our forests. Through this collaboration, we are planting trees, restoring ecosystems and actively participating in projects that seek to counteract the effects of climate change. We are committed to doing our part to alleviate our carbon footprint and promote responsible business practices.
- Every year, together with Zero Plastiko Urdaibai, we join the cause of collecting plastics at sea and coastal cleanups. We believe that corporate responsibility goes beyond our products and services, extending to the impact we generate in the world we share. That is why we join this noble cause, working hand in hand with volunteers and passionate defenders of the environment to combat plastic pollution.
- We are part of the Ecotourism Committee of Aktiba (Association of Active, Nautical, Adventure and Ecotourism Companies of Euskadi), EkoAktiba. Where we work to promote and support the companies that belong to the association and are motivated by the conservation and perpetuation of the natural, cultural and patrimonial environment.
