The Río Eo, Oscos, and Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve offers an extensive network of trails that allow visitors to explore some of the best-preserved landscapes in northern Spain. The trails wind through river valleys, native forests, small villages, mountainous areas, and the surroundings of the Eo estuary, showcasing the close relationship between nature and traditional ways of life.
Among the most representative routes are those linked to water and the ethnographic heritage of the Oscos region, where mills, waterwheels, and ancient trails connect villages set within a landscape of great ecological value. Along the coast, the area around the Eo estuary and the Coastal Way of St. James offer itineraries that combine heritage, culture, and exceptional views of one of the best-preserved estuaries on the Cantabrian coast.
