At Actividades Sierra de las Nieves, we view nature tourism as an opportunity to connect with the environment in an authentic, respectful, and mindful way. Since 2018, we have been developing outdoor experiences designed to spark curiosity, wonder, and respect for the landscape, fostering a closer connection with Sierra de las Nieves National Park and its natural and cultural values.
- Regeneration of the Spanish fir, through actions aimed at promoting its recovery and conservation, contributing to the protection of this emblematic species of high ecological value in the Sierra de las Nieves.
- Maintenance of beehives, highlighting the fundamental role of bees in pollination and the balance of ecosystems, as well as their contribution to the biodiversity of the environment.
- Development of environmental interpretation and awareness activities aimed at promoting and highlighting the natural heritage of the Sierra de las Nieves, fostering responsible attitudes toward its conservation.
- We raise Pajuna cows, a breed critically endangered. This native breed helps maintain biodiversity by contributing to the conservation of natural areas and the prevention of forest fires.

This experience goes far beyond a simple hiking trail: it is a sensory and therapeutic immersion in one of the Mediterranean’s most unique forests. The experience begins with a guided nature walk through the Spanish fir forest, led by forest engineers and nature lovers.
Along the way, you’ll learn about the different ecosystems that make up this exceptional environment, as well as gain a different, mindful perspective on the use and management of natural resources, always with a focus on respectful and sustainable practices.
During the hike, you’ll also learn about aromatic plants, local wildlife, and the importance of conserving this valuable natural heritage. Direct contact with the forest, the silence, the scents, and the light filtering through the treetops allow you to disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with what truly matters.
After approximately 2.5 hours of walking, you’ll arrive at the Morada del Pinsapo, the world’s only nature classroom built from Spanish fir wood.
At this special location or at our La Nava food truck, you’ll enjoy a menu designed for every moment in the heart of nature, made with organic and locally sourced ingredients from local producers committed to sustainability and caring for the land, and prepared using traditional recipes steeped in history.
