- Preserving heritage values ??and maintaining traditional architectural styles.

- Preserving and caring for native flora around the property.

- Puntagorda is a municipality deeply rooted in tradition, culture, and nature, where the iconic almond blossom stands out.

- The house boasts a fully cultivated vegetable garden, tended by the owner herself. The produce is sold at the local market, where she has her own stall. Guests are welcome to freely enjoy the garden's produce, taking whatever they wish.

Casa El Jócamo is surrounded by vegetable gardens in Fagundo, in Puntagorda "the flowers municipality". This is a beautiful village with leafy pine trees. Every spring time Puntagorda shows its best picture when its thousands almond trees blossom and we are delighted with an astonishing landscape of incredible beauty. This incomparable sight is celebrated every year with great pleasure by locals and visitors during "the almond tree festival" at the first weekend February. Casa El Jócamo is located at a short distance from some interesting places to visit such us: "Fayal de Puntagorda" (a pine tree forest), "Mercadillo de Puntagorda" (local market open only at weekends), Saint Mauro Abad's Church or the Wind Mills.
