Our ecotourism commitment:

At Casa Federico, we are committed to biodiversity conservation and local development on our island of La Palma. Some of our key initiatives include:

- Preserving heritage values ??and maintaining traditional architectural styles.

- Protecting and caring for native flora around the property.

- Located in the northwest of the island, Casa Federico offers a rural paradise renowned for its almond blossom (January-February), the Farmers' Market, the stunning Porís (natural harbor), and the zip line over the Izcagua Ravine. It boasts lush natural surroundings with trails through pine forests, spectacular viewpoints, and a tranquil atmosphere of rugged coastline and local culture.

PUNTAGORDA

Casa Federico is a two-storey family house which has been handed down from generation to generation, and which has recently been renovated, combining modern aspects with the original rustic style. Worthy of note are the natural stone walls inside giving warmth to the rooms, and the wooden floors in the lounge and double bedroom. Outside, the ancient water storage tank with its wooden access hatch attracts attention, together with the cosy terrace, an ideal spot to relax in the shade of a loquat tree.

Its location in the attractive village of Puntagorda, surrounded by vineyards, makes this country house the perfect corner for enjoying tranquillity, the impressive pine forests, the deep blue of the ocean - or the more energetic pleasures of hikes and bike tours. Only a few yards away from Casa Federico, the GR-130 Coastal Footpath, going right round the island, crosses the local footpath PR LP 11, which links Puntagorda with Roque de los Muchachos via the Camino de la Rosa. Another point in favour of this house is that only 1km away, opposite the El Fayal leisure area, the Puntagorda Farmer's Market is held every weekend, offering a variety of local products including organic and conventionally grown fruit and vegetables, cheeses, honey, traditional cakes and pastries, crafts, etc. Something definitely not to be missed by all those staying in the municipality!
