La Joya del Valle de Ricote is a rural guesthouse located in the Ricote Valley, in the Region of Murcia, an area known for its traditional agricultural landscape and strong cultural identity. Llanos is the fifth generation to run the family estate; she is an interior designer and, after several years in the U.S., met her husband. There came a point when she could no longer cope with the stress, so she moved to Murcia. Later, she decided to establish La Joya using the estate?s apartments, which were formerly workers? homes. For her and her husband, it?s not just a business?it?s a way of life.
Several apartments are equipped with a full kitchen (including basic appliances, kitchenware, and utensils), a living-dining room, and separate bedrooms. Each unit has a private bathroom and basic amenities for self-catering stays. Outside, the property offers outdoor spaces such as terraces, relaxation areas, and landscaped gardens, allowing guests to enjoy the climate and the valley?s distinctive landscape. Depending on the type of accommodation, it may include a swimming pool or other facilities designed for leisure and relaxation.
Services provided include linens, towels, and customer service, as well as tourist information about the surrounding area and recommendations for local activities. The accommodation is configured to allow for either exclusive or shared stays, adapting to different types of guests.

Breakfast is not served, but a Mediterranean breakfast kit is provided (see website). Freshly picked oranges from our orchard, seasonal fruit, a loaf of sliced bread and artisan pastries, homemade jams, butter, and extra virgin olive oil, coffee, milk, Colacao, tea, and herbal teas.
