At Málaga Sierra de las Nieves by Real Spain Hotels, we are committed to biodiversity conservation and local development in Casarabonela, within the Sierra de las Nieves National Park and Biosphere Reserve. We are a 3-key aparthotel focused on a peaceful stay immersed in the landscape, with services designed to combine comfort, independence, and a connection with nature.
1. Energy and Water
We monitor consumption and implement water-saving measures such as low-energy lighting, split-system air conditioning, insulated windows, and refillable toiletries. We also collect rainwater in a reservoir to supply the accommodations, use a saltwater swimming pool, and have a project underway to implement renewable energy on the premises.
2. Waste and Responsible Consumption
We provide waste containers, recycle glass and oil, and have a zero-food-waste policy. In addition, we reuse cloths, refill dispensers, and reduce the use of single-use plastics, informing guests about less frequent cleaning to decrease water and product consumption.
3. Connection to the Destination
We promote visits to the Sierra de las Nieves area with local guides, some trained in forest management, to interpret the landscape from an environmental perspective. We also provide informational materials at reception and before arrival, and offer a free tour of Casarabonela in English and Spanish to introduce our guests to the destination.
4. Local Development
We are committed to local employment, and all our staff are from the area, thus strengthening the accommodation's connection to the region. Furthermore, we prioritize local products such as olive oil and fresh fruits and vegetables from our own garden, collaborate with the Alhaurín el Grande Olive Mill, and recommend nearby activities and businesses to create synergies.

Booking conditions
Reservation Guarantee and Cancellation Policy: To guarantee the reservation, all guests are required to provide a valid credit card number so that we may charge the applicable fees in the event of a cancellation. Reservations canceled more than 24 hours prior to the arrival date at the property will not be subject to any charges. In general, cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the guest?s arrival date will be subject to a charge for the first night of the booked stay, which will be billed to the credit card number provided by the guest. In the event of a no-show (the guest does not arrive at the property on the arrival date specified in the reservation), the guest will be charged the full amount for the booked period, which will be charged to the credit card number provided by the guest. For reservations made for dates coinciding with certain holidays or vacation periods and special holidays (Easter, Christmas, and the Málaga Fair), cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the arrival date at the establishment will be subject to a charge for the first night of the booked stay, which will be billed to the credit card number provided by the customer. For group reservations (5 or more guests), a prepayment of up to 50% of the total amount for the contracted services will be required at the time of reservation confirmation; under no circumstances will any part or the total amount be refunded in the event of cancellation. When booking the Non-Refundable rate, the full amount for the booked period will be charged to the credit card upon receipt of the reservation by Hotel Interim Management, S.L., and under no circumstances will any part or the full amount be refunded in the event of cancellation.
